CVS Beauty Club:

CVS Beauty Club is a very easy way to earn rewards for the things that you are purchasing. All you are required to do is spend $30.00 on any qualifying Beauty items at CVS you will then earn a $3.00 Extrabucks that can be applied to any future purchase.  Beauty items that qualify are hair care, cosmetics, facial care, skin care, hair appliances, hair accessories, fragrances, and hosiery. It excludes items trial and travel sizes, gift cards and prescriptions. The following items vary as counting toward Beauty club razors, shaving cream, deodorant, some men’s body wash and sunscreen.  You don’t have to spend $30.00 all in one transaction it can over several transactions to meet the total amount spend out of pocket.  You will not receive the rewards right away. After making a qualifying purchase it can take up to 48 hours to apply to your account. Once it shows on your account you have the option to print it at the in store kiosk or upload it your card from the CVS App. You will also receive a $3.00 Extrabucks each year on your birthday but you have to add your birthday to your online profile.

CVS App Coupons:

Make sure you download the CVS App so that you can take advantage of the mobile coupons that are offered on the app. When downloading the app make sure you connect your Extracare account with your mobile device and you will receive customized digital coupons that can be downloaded and used at checkout. Always check My Deals and Rewards on the app to see what deals are available for your.

Extracare Coupon Center:  

The Extracare Coupon Center, which is located in CVS store it is the red kiosks you find in the store. Once you locate the machine in the store your can scan your Extracare card every time you shop. You will receive personalize coupons from the machine and you will also receive other deals that are being offered. Each week I will post about coupons and deals that are reporting weekly. Coupons will vary by the customers so you may or may not get the same coupons that everyone else gets.

1. Sign up for a CVS Extra Care Card

The CVS Extra care card is necessary to receive sale prices and to participate in the CVS extra care buck program. You can go directly to the website to request a card and they will send it out the mail to you. You can also pick up a form and a card at any CVS store and start saving immediately.

Once you receive your card make sure you register the card online with your email address. Make sure you check your email because they send out coupons to your email.

2. Extra Care Bucks/Extra Bucks

Extra bucks are coupons received at the end of the receipt and are like extra “bucks” when shopping at CVS. The same card has to be used in order to redeem the extra bucks.

Extra bucks can be used on the just about anything in the store except for the following stamps, alcohol, prescriptions, tax, and tobacco. You can still use the extra bucks on deals that you will receive extra bucks for but make sure you are checking the limits on the deals to receive the extra bucks.

Extra bucks are earned in three different ways and usually expire within 30 days.

  • Quarterly extra bucks are issued four times a year and are calculated on the shopper’s spending at CVS.
  • Prescription refills once you have filled ten prescription’s and or gotten vaccination at CVS. You will earn $5 Extra Bucks.
  • Also while signing up for a CVS card make sure you also sign up for the Beauty club. Spend $30 on Beauty products and you will receive a $3 Extra Bucks reward. 
  • Weekly deals with extra bucks are issued immediately on the both of your receipts when a shopper buys an advertised “extra buck” item. There are limits, usually one or two, for weekly extra buck deals

3. Manufacturer coupons and CVS coupons can be combined.

CVS accepts all manufacturer coupons which includes the internet printable. CVS also has there own coupons that can be used as well.

CVS has there own coupons that are either emailed to you, sent out in the mail to you, then check the both of your receipts for coupons and they are also issued at the Kiosk in store.

CVS allows there store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per product. Extra bucks are not considered to be a coupon and they don’t count them as one they can be used with the store and manufacturer’s coupons.

4. Do small transaction in order to spend less out of pocket

If you know couponing you will pay for your items out of pockets at first. Then with items that are purchased, you will receive extra bucks at the both of your receipts. After receiving the extra bucks you can then roll them over into another transaction. Rolling your extra bucks over to another transaction will make you spend less out of pocket. You can also save your extra bucks for the next weeks deals which will lower yours out of pocket expenses.

The more you shop at CVS you will start to earn more extra bucks they will begin to build up slowly over time. Always check the expiration date to make sure you don’t miss out on using them.IMG_10805. Rain Checks

CVS offers rainchecks if the item is out of stock. CVS issues rainchecks on the sale items and the extra buck amounts too. The rain checks never expire. People often save the rainchecks for when they have a coupon that will make the deal even better with little out of pocket money spent.

How to earn balance rewards points?
To begin to make sure you have your balance rewards card scanned at the register, or let the cashier look up your account with your telephone number. If ordering offline log into your balance rewards account and select items and place order. When placing an order online you can still earn balance rewards points on your purchase.

  • Prescriptions:
    If you refill prescriptions at Walgreens, you can earn points. If you refill a prescription for 30 days, you will earn 100 points. If you refill a prescription for a 90-day supply, you will earn 300 points. Walgreens also offers 100 points per immunization. This offer is only valid for prescriptions that are picked up in-store are eligible to earn points.
  • Healthy Choices:
    Healthy Choices are also offered to gain points. Healthy Choices are when you log your exercise daily, weigh-ins, blood pressure, glucose readings, nicotine replacement therapy use and tracking sleep.   • Beauty Enthusiast:
    Sign up for Beauty Enthusiast Program to earn points 5000 points for every $50 that you spend on beauty. What has considered Beauty is cosmetics, skin care, hair care, oral care, fragrances and grooming products will count toward beauty. You don’t have to spend $50 in on trip is tracked based off all your trips until you reach $50 and then it starts with the tracking.

Bonus Points
Points are earned on all items purchased when using your rewards card. There are bonus points awarded on some purchases, that you will find noted in the ads weekly.

Here are some common general FAQs about the points system at Walgreens: Points are earned on all items purchased in a transaction. Points are rewarded on a total purchase after coupons all rewards programs work this way. If you make a purchase of $25 in products and have $8 in coupons, you will get points only on $17.

  • Points are earned on all items that are purchased in a transaction.
  • Points are rewarded on total purchases after store coupons have been applied. This is how all rewards programs work. If you purchase $20 in products and have $5 in Walgreen’s coupons, you will get points only on $15 that is spent out of pocket.
  • Points are rewarded on a total purchase before manufacturer’s coupons. If you purchase $20 in products and have $1 in manufacturer’s coupons, your total would be $19, but you will still earn points on your $20 purchase.
  • To earn points, the purchase must be made in a single transaction. The totals do not add up from several different receipts. You will find your points listed on both receipt.
  • Points are not rounded up, they are in fact rounded down. If you spend $3.99, you will get only 30 points added to your account. So, if you are looking for points, you might find small items to take you over your next dollar threshold so that you get the points you may be looking for.
  • Some items offer bonus points. When you make some purchases, you will earn bonus points. If your item is $15 and you get 10x points, you will end up with 150 points on your account instead. Adversely, if the item is $0.99 and you get 10x points, the total points will have credited to your account will be 9 (as your total is $9.99 and points round down).
  • Points are redeemed for discounts. Points can be redeemed once you reach 5,000 points. You will have the option to use them with your purchase are allow them to accrue for a bigger discount. You can save points up to $50.
